ASSETS IN VIETNAM

1. BLOCK 06.1
ONGC Videsh Ltd holds 45% Participating Interest (PI) in Block 06.1 located offshore, about 370 km Southeast of Vung Tau City. BP Exploration Operating Company Limited (BPEOC) with 35% PI and PetroVietnam (PVN), the national E&P company of Vietnam, with 20% PI are the other partners. BPEOC is the operator.

Two gas fields, Lan Tay and Lan Do, have been discovered during the exploration phase.

Lan Tay field has been developed with 5 sub sea wells. Gas production from the field commenced in November 2002. The gas is transported onshore to the Phu My industrial complex by approx. 400-km. long pipeline, constructed by NCSP consortium comprising of BP, Conoco and PetroVietnam. Gas is marketed directly to PetroVietnam who delivers the gas to end users.

Development of Lan Do field is planned during subsequent phase.

2. BLOCKS 127 & 128
ONGC Videsh (OVL) had been awarded Blocks 127 & 128 in Vietnam’s 2004 Licensing Round, The blocks are located at water depth ranging from 50m to more than 1000m. OVL is the Operator with 100% participation interest in both the blocks. OVL has committed work program of carrying out seismic survey and drilling exploratory wells in these two blocks.

About 1650 sq. km. of 3D seismic data has been acquired in 2007 which is currently under processing.
