ONGC Videsh Contributes Towards Safety Awareness Drive In Vietnam
“Wherever we operate, ONGC-VL strives to make a positive and meaningful contribution to community activities, learn from and respect cultures in which we work. We share a special friendship with Vietnam, the foundation of which was laid by our great national heroes, President Ho Chi Minh and Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. Traffic safety is a burning issue in big cities in Vietnam with the Government also quite concerned about it. Distribution of helmets to the students is not only to provide safety but also promote a habit for safety. I wish that with these helmets, students will travel to school safely, with smiles on their faces. I also believe that the students in helmets would help remind adults of road safety,” Mr. R.S. Butola, Managing Director of ONGC Videsh Ltd, communicated in his message. |
