ONGC to invest Rs650cr : Asian Age, New Delhi 13 August, 2010 ONGC proposes to invest Rs 650 crore to set up a wind power project in Rajasthan. "ONGC proposes to set up 102 megawatt capacity wind power project in Rajasthan at an estimated cost of Rs 650 crore," Minister of state for petroleum and natural gas Mr Jitin Prasada said in a written reply to a question in Lok Sabha. The average annual generation would be in the range of 200-210 million units. It is also examining the feasibility of setting up a 501mw grid connected solar power photovoltaic project in Gujarat and Rajasthan. "No time limit has been fixed to finalise the project. However, it would be ONGC's endeavour to finalise the project at the earliest," he said.
