38th Annual General Meeting Of ONGC Videsh Limited 29 September, 2003 The 38th Annual General Meeting of the Company was held on  29th September, 2003 at New Delhi. At the outset Chairmen, OVL explained about the activities of the company in the previous financial year and Annual Accounts of the Company were adopted in the meeting. Chairman, OVL appreciated the efforts of the MD, OVL and his team for achieving number of milestones in the previous financial year. The company earned the first revenue from the sale of hydrocarbons, from Vietnam project. The Company acquired the first producing property, in the Greater Nile Oil Project, Sudan. The company also concluded the first exploration and development contract as operator, in the Farsi Project, Iran.
