Impressive ONGC Corporate Display at Sudan 05 February, 2010
ONGC Videsh Ltd., presented an impressive Corporate display of ONGC Group of companies at the 27th International Fair of Khartoum, Sudan in the first week of February 2010. The exhibition was formally inaugurated by His Excellency Mr. Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, Second Vice president of Government of Sudan on 1st February 2010.

ONGC Videsh Ltd with a 25% stake in Greater Nile Petroleum Operating Company participated in the exhibition and attracted a number of visitors which includes corporate companies, business men and a large gathering of local people. OVL contribution to the local oil and gas industry has been broadly acknowledged and a number of local dignitaries expressed their happiness at OVL presence in Sudan and expressed their desire for even a bigger role by OVL in Sudan.

Companies from 23 Countries from different parts of the World participated in the Fair in addition to a large number of local companies.

In addition to oil production, OVL also bagged the pipeline laying project of 741 km Multi product pipeline from Khartoum Refinery to Port Sudan in 2005 and completed successfully ahead of time.
