|Secretary MOP&NG visits OVL Office at Doha|

ONGC Videsh office at Doha played proud host to Mr. M S Srinivasan, Secretary Government of India, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas on the sidelines of 6th Doha Conference on Natural gas.
Mr. Srinivasan accompanied by HE , Dr George Joseph Ambassador of India, Mr R S Butola MD,OVL, Mr V K Dewangan Director(MOP&NG),Mr P.Dasgupta MD & CEO,PLL,and Mr U D Choubey CMD GAIL visited OVL, Doha office and reviewed the progress made on the Najwat Najem Oil Structure Project (NN Project). The dignitaries were received by Mr. Ajeet Deshwal GM-Qatar Operations and Mr. Abduljabar DGM.

A brief presentation was made by Mr P G Sudhakaran DGM (P) and Project Coordinator Qatar on the status of NN Project and other activities undertaken by OVL Mr. Srinivasan showed keen interest in the activities and asked intriguing questions. He called up Rig Aban VII and congratulated OVL and Aban VII personnel for the job carried out by them .Mr Srinivasan was taken around the OVL office and was briefed about monitoring and other activities carried out at OVL office

Mr. Abduljabbar Abdulnoor Saifaldeen, DGM on deputation from Qatar Petroleum, briefed Mr Srinivasan about the support being provided by Qatar Petroleum to OVL for carrying out its drilling activities in Qatar. Mr. Abduljabar brought out the efforts made by OVL team to overcome difficulties faced in drilling Well NN-3. Mr Srinivasan expressed satisfaction over the mutual cooperation between Qatar Petroleum and OVL, he thanked Qatar Petroleum for help extended and also complimented Mr. V P Mahawar Head CMT,ONGC,for the excellent job done for helping OVL, Doha in addressing the problem of loss and gain activities in Well NN-3.
