|Hazira starts training module for GNPOC officials|
03 March, 2006
ONGC has taken yet another initiative based on its world-class training expertise. The Hazira plant has taken over from Uran for the next leg of the 13-week training-cum-cross posting of GNPOC officials.
The four officials of the Sudanese company arrived at the Hazira plant on March 13, 2006, after completing bouts of training at IPSHEM, Goa, and the Uran plant. The production/ maintenance supervisors will now be given exposure in gas condensate receiving terminals, as well as processing and production of value added products.
GNPOC officials call upon Shri P K Johri, ED-Head Hazira Plant
Giving an outline of the three-week training module, which will have a mix of classroom lectures and field visits, I/C Training K. C. Arora informed that daily field visits to various units have been planned. These will be followed by on-site technical discussions with the respective area managers — to ensure that the GNPOC officials get maximum exposure. The course will cover all units and facilities.
On day one, the trainees received an introduction to the Hazira gas processing plant at the KDM Training Centre.
The faculty members for the training programme are field engineers, all well equipped with data and information. Feedback will also be taken from the Sudanese officials to assess the training course with respect to several parameters.
